After years of trying to split myself into many pieces and manage my different creative disciplines in separate places in life and on the internet, I’ve finally decided to bring it all into one place to cut the unnecessary stress and overwhelm out of my life.
Hence, The Multidisciplinary Creative was born.
Before I dive into what I’ll share here on the website, let me introduce myself!
I’m Jasmine
I’ve been a multidisciplinary creative for as long as I can remember without even knowing that I was multidisciplinary. It was always just natural for me to dip into different creative disciplines and integrate them into my work.
I’ve always been very curious as well, which led me to study different disciplines in school and self-study several more in my spare time.
I’ve studied art and culture (where I dipped into many different disciplines like painting, ceramics, and literature), textile and design (with a focus on fashion design), music history, and literature (both the broader classic literature as well as the more specific fantasy fiction). I’ve also learned and self-studied disciplines like crochet, knitting, fiber art (like weaving), macramé, writing (fiction, non-fiction, and poetry), drawing, painting (mostly abstract), and more.
Add to that all the disciplines I want to learn more about, and the list would be miles long.
No wonder I wanted to gather it all in one place rather than have each interest of mine live in a separate place, huh?
That’s where The Multidisciplinary Creative comes in.

The articles on my website will be irregular for the time being. Mainly because I’m working on some stuff for MPC behind the scenes.
